Dr. Bob Lindsay
Robert Lindsay is chief of internal medicine at Helen Hayes Hospital and director of its clinical research centre. A professor of clinical medicine at Columbia University, Dr Lindsay has authored over 300 journal articles, abstracts and book chapters on osteoporosis and estrogen replacement therapy. He is past president of the National Osteoporosis Foundation and is the 1999 recipient of the Foundation’s Scientific Leadership Award.

Dr. Robert R. Recker M.D
Robert Recker, director of the Creighton University Osteoporosis Research Center, is an internationally recognised expert in the field of metabolic bone disease. His 30-plus year career as physician-scientist includes laboratory and clinical research, teaching, patient care, and professional leadership. He is past president of the American Society for Bone and Mineral Research. Dr Recker serves on the editorial boards of several medical journals, including Osteoporosis International, the Journal of Bone and Mineral Research and the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism. He is the current President of the National Osteoporosis Foundation.

Dr. Tim Spector
Professor Spector is a consultant physician and director of the Twin Research and Genetic Epidemiology Unit at St Thomas’ Hospital, London. He founded the St Thomas’ UK Adult Twin Registry of nearly 10,000 twins and the unique Chingford longitudinal study of ageing. He has published over 300 research articles on common complex diseases and genetic factors.
